The Gaelic Literature Awards 2024: Shortlists

The Gaelic Books Council has announced the shortlists for the Gaelic Literature Awards 2024. Prizes are to be awarded in six categories, including titles published between 1st May 2023 and 30th April 2024, and for unpublished manuscripts.

Na Còig Mathain – Catherine Rayner, translated by Alasdair Campbell (Acair)
Paddington – Michael Bond, translated by Gillebrìde MacMillan (Belle Media)
Tìgear an Iomagain – Alexandra Page & Stef Murphy, translated by Morag Stewart (Acair)
The Derick Thomson Prize for Best Poetry Book

The winners will be announced at an evening reception on Tuesday 17th September 2024 at Cottiers Theatre, Glasgow.
