Description
Acair, 2018. 239 pages.
A revised edition of Oiteagan à Tìr nan Òg by Roderick MacKay, the Baleshare Bard, which was originally published in 1938.
This collection of classic Gaelic poetry from North Uist was well-loved for many years, and this new edition features a number of poems which did not appear in the original book. It is also enriched by a history of the people about whom the poems are written and of the poet himself by Iain MacDonald and a foreword from well-known singer Julie Fowlis.
