Description
Taigh na Teud. 2002. 48 pages, paperback.
Malcolm McDonald published four collections of Strathspey Reels, etc. The first of these in 1788 was entirely made up of his own compositions. The following volumes contained a number of tunes which are thought to be the work of other composers. Little personal information is known about Malcolm McDonald but it is known that at one time he lived around Dunkeld, probably in the village of Inver. It is also said that Malcolm played the cello for Neil Gow after the death of Neil’s brother Donald.
