    – As been part of the ‘Sgrìob’ series published by Acair Books for young adults or Gaelic learners one has to give it credit by modulating the review below. The language is simple and clear but not overtly ” basic “.
    – It is a simple, at first somewhat predictable, plot thriller. It can be slow, especially for native speakers / more advanced learners, with a lot of crouching behind walls and yelling / shouting to attempt to keep up the tension. I thought it was heading for a two stars only review. However it picked up in the climax / conclusion with a reasonably unexpected ( unless you are an afficionado of thrillers or ” Tales of the Unexpected ” ) twist. So will be three stars due to that and being part of the ‘Sgrìob’ series.
