Donald Angus Matheson the traditional Gaelic singer from Barvas, Isle of Lewis is known locally as Dolly Angus.Dolly Angus has won the Traditional Medal at the Royal National Mod. Whilst highlighting the work of lesser known composers of Gaelic verse, by sharing aspects of the islands bardic output at concerts and events throughout Scotland. Composers of verse from the Westside include Malcolm Maclennan of Arnol and Norman Macleod of Shader.
