Children’s competition: Cù Giobach
Posted on 9 February 2026 in Latest News

To mark World Gaelic Week / Seachdain na Gàidhlig, and to celebrate the publication of Cù Giobach, Belle Kids in conjunction with the Gaelic Books Council are pleased to offer children the chance to win a signed copy of the book and a £25 National Book Token!
Cù Giobach is a new Gaelic chapter book, based on one of the most popular ever children’s books. It tells the story of an abandoned, rather flea-bitten dog, living on the streets. He’s warm hearted and loveable, but, desperate to find a kind owner, he sometimes gets into some unfortunate scrapes.
