Rody Gorman was raised in Dublin and now lives in the Isle of Skye. He has published books in Gaelic, Irish and English, and was awarded the bardic crown of An Comunn Gàidhealach in 2021. His latest books include Sweeney: An Intertonguing (Francis Boutle Publishers, 2024) and Sa Chnoc (CLÀR, 2023), winner of the Derick Thomson Prize for Best Poetry Book 2024.
