Leugh is Seinn le Linda

Leugh is Seinn le Linda are fun-filled Gaelic reading sessions with stories, songs, puppets and games for 0-8 year-olds run by the Gaelic Books Council and led by our Gaelic reading ambassador Linda Macleod. Their aim is to encourage and develop Gaelic literacy in children across Scotland, all while having a bit of fun!

Booking a session

Parents

Leugh is Seinn le Linda sessions are available for free at our Gaelic bookshop in Partick, Glasgow on the last Saturday of every month. Keep an eye out on Eventbrite and Leugh is Seinn le Linda Facebook page to reserve a place for upcoming sessions. If you would like to receive more information and news about Leugh is Seinn le Linda, please sign up to our newsletter.

Schools and Organisations

We offer in-person and online Leugh is Seinn le Linda sessions to schools, nurseries, and other organisations. Online sessions can be live via Microsoft Teams, or pre-recorded.

Please note:

  • We require a minimum of 2 sessions for each booking.
  • Sessions are usually 30min but can be longer if necessary.
  • We ask that there be no more than 20 children per session.
  • Sessions are £125 each.
