Description
This collection is a selection of works written in the 1980s and 1990s. The title poem, 'Meall Garbh', recalls the poet's experience of the Perthshire mountains in the 1930s while holidaying in Killin, and weaves history, geography and politics into the tapestry. Several other poems date from his years spent at Aberfeldy, and Lewis and other places of interest surface from time to time throughout the book.
